Although I grew up in a little beach town and could walk the half mile or so to the beach anytime, even now I still feel a thrill at the sight of the vast and mysterious ocean while standing on the shore. All the things you so beautifully describe seemed very real to me as I read them. Glad you had a sunny day to enjoy!Sara at Come Away With Mehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07677354270954094291noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5266224907043302947.post-64486792055429479142017-11-30T19:33:36.892+00:002017-11-30T19:33:36.892+00:00Your pictures have cheered me up no end, so bluste...Your pictures have cheered me up no end, so blustery and sunny, just what I like. Walking on beaches is a glorious way to spend time. <br />This post is especially lovely as we're in the midst of unrelenting grey and rain. On fine Sundays my mother would announce after church that it was a good day for the seaside. A picnic would be organized and off we'd go. It took an hour to get there and I'm sure we blinded our parents for the last 45 minutes of that hour with the question "Are we there yet?" Salty and sandy, happy and full of sea air, we'd sing in the back seat all the way home - or at least until we fell asleep. Now I want to go to the beach! mollyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03797484583400519909noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5266224907043302947.post-45187665297954446342017-11-29T23:01:49.184+00:002017-11-29T23:01:49.184+00:00What a nice day out!
