Summer in the city

A mini wild flower meadow buzzing with beas and other insects




All the above pictures taken within a couple of minutes walk from the mainline station!

These quiet scenes are all just a few yards from the shops and the heaving crowds.


All this and shopping too - I rarely find anything I like and am not a keen shopper but yesterday was my lucky day plus a pair of new pillows too.

    Exeter, including Northernhay and Southernhay Gardens. I spent 4 years of my life there and still miss the place!

    I love these mini wild flower meadows - we tried to create one this year in our small garden with seeds bought from home bargains - it didn't work and made my husband grumpy so won't do it again!!! The mosaics also lovely - looks like another good day out with your bargains as well!!
