Autumn morning

I walked into town this morning along the old railway path - noticing the greenery which was growing in the gaps between the bricks and thinking how brave the little ferns and plants were to make their life where they found themselves and seemingly not to wish for more - a lesson we might learn perhaps?

The shafts of sunlight through the trees were really beautiful.

Inspirational I thought and it made me think that though there is much wrong with the world so much cruelty, so much greed, wars and killing each other, so many seemingly insurmountable problems to keep us awake at night there is also so much beauty and perhaps all will indeed be well even if humankind is no longer here to spoil things as we do.

A short walk always does me good and sets me on the right path I find.

Nothing to do with the above - does anyone have any idea what my computer or I might have done to make the font on all my Blogger pages so tiny?  I find writing and reading my posts except in Preview very tiring to the eyes.

  1. You can alter the font by going into Design, then click Customize, then Advanced. Then look for Font and you should be able to change to the size you want.

  2. You are so right about nature being so restoring. I am really struggling to listen to the news these days, part of me wants to know what is going on the other part I need to protect myself from the horrific nature of it.

In answer to your blogging question, as the size of your font is fine in your published posts I am guessing it is something to do with the actual size of your create posts screen on your computer itself, can you make it bigger in anyway by clicking on the edge of the screen and dragging it sideways, if that makes sense, so that it physically covers more of your screen?

  3. Beautiful post. I also find it sad that there is never any good news reported. I'm sure there is some out there, it would so uplifting

  4. Beautiful photos, all of them, but especially the two with the shafts of sunlight spotlighting the ground between those two large trees! About the size of your fonts, I know on my iMac if I hit "command" and "+" everything gets bigger and "command" and "-" it all gets smaller. Not sure if this works on non-Apple computers though.

  5. I enjoy your thoughts sparked by trees and nature. Trees are wonderful inspirations and your photos lovely ones. Elizabeth's advice at the top is my recommendation.

  7. ps. about your font: When you're writing your blogs there is a bar at the top of the page with symbols. The fifth one from the left is a picture of a large and a small 'T' where you can select the font size. Hope that helps...? xx

  8. Your images are lovely, especially 2 and 3.

Yor font is fine when it gets to me.

I don't listen to the news and I don't have TV to watch it on.

This has been the longest and most beautiful Autumn for a lot of years.

  11. That old railway path is the one I always worry about you being on--your safety--I always think someone will be hiding in the shadows and vines. But you have assured me in the past that it is perfectly safe. ;)
