Me again!

Once again I must begin by thanking you all for your kind thoughts and comments - all much appreciated.

I had my scan done on Wednesday but needless to say no results were given and I now have to wait to see the opthalmologist at the hospital in Yeovil again for her to tell me what if anything has been found and who knows when that might be.  I am glad to say that the problem is not as bad as it was and most days I am OK now.  I am also glad to say my virus has pretty much gone now and I am feeling like my usual self and not so tired or depressed.  End of health bulletin!!

I have been lurking round blogland occasionally and reading a post here and there but I have realised just how much time I had been giving to blogging and am resolved to cut back on both posting and reading and commenting. According to Blogger I follow over 100 blogs and I have 169 followers - now in real life I wouldn't/couldn't correspond regularly with that number of people and so I think I must reduce it all a bit otherwise nothing else gets done.

I haven't been taking many photographs lately and have nothing exciting to show you but these are from a walk I did with a friend on 18 November. It was the first real walk I had done since the start of my cold 4 weeks earlier and boy was I glad when we reached the pub where we had left our cars and we went inside for a pub lunch and a nice sit down!  Those sheep in photo 2 saw my friend opening the map and I think they thought it might be a feed bag as they made a bee line for us only to be disappointed when they discovered we had nothing to eat!

  2. Good to read your post!
Prayers and good vibes your way for the test results.

I manage the blogs I read in order of their updates. I try to limit comments to no more than a few a week. I keep all the other blogs are in bookmark folders that I check regularly, but not every day (or even every week). If they aren't updated in a few months, then I delete them.

  3. I am glad that you are making some progress, and hope that you continue to do so. You might find it easier if you followed your blogs in Google Reader, so you could check up once a week, and read several posts at a time. Do keep us posted anyway - I have been thinking about you and hoping that you were OK.

    Best wishes

  8. I wonder if your sight problems may have been connected with this weird virus. Everyone I know has had different symptoms, - all that they really have in common is that the virus lingers for far longer than you'd really think it ever would. Anyway good luck with the scan results.
Yes, blogging can be time consuming. I find I often end up looking at only a few. I try to rotate them a bit though. I think I might miss them if they were not there!

  9. Glad to hear you've improved a bit. Good to see a post from you. I think most people who enjoy blogging won't get upset if you don't answer everyone. (If you're feeling guilty you could just leave them with MARIGOLD JAM WAS HERE!) Take care of yourself.

  20. Oh my dear, I am just catching up and didn't realize all the problems you are enduring. I am so sorry and pray that your eyes are fine.

I too am having problems with the sheer chunk of time that blogging takes. It doesn't leave lots of room for life.

Sending love to you and wishes for good health,

    Sharon
